GAROGA-SINCERITY NEWSLETTER – NOVEMBER 2018
My Brothers,
November has arrived and with it comes Thanksgiving and the Holiday Season immediately following. As always, I am profoundly grateful for my Masonic Family. We have just completed an incredibly busy month at Garoga-Sincerity Lodge, and it required the amazing efforts of so many Brothers they can not all be listed here. My thanks and gratitude are extended to each of you for your support in all our Lodge does. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers this season and all throughout the year. May the Great Architect of the Universe bless you all with a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Without your help and support, we would not have been able to accomplish the following in October:
1) A successful and profitable Roast Pork Dinner
2) An Entered Apprentice Night following a Spaghetti and Meatball dinner
3) The conferral of the Master Mason Degree, including a Fried Chicken dinner and Brothers from several lodges in our District, The Grand Lodge of Connecticut, and M.W. James E. Sullivan, Grand Master of Masons in the State of NY 2012-2014.
4) The Grand Lecturer’s Convention following a Beef Stew Dinner.
You likely noticed a dinner theme in the list above. I would like to single out W. Ken Perry for his truly extra special efforts for making each of those dinners tremendous. Thank you, Ken, for all you do for our Lodge. Thanks to Ken, no one goes hungry at Garoga-Sincerity Lodge.
UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER

Masonic Thought for the Month
“The real secrets of Masonry are never told, not even from mouth to ear. For the real secret of Masonry is spoken to your heart and from it to the heart of your brother. Never the language made for tongue may speak it, it is uttered only in the eye in those manifestations of that love which a man has for his friend, which passeth all other loves.” ~ William Howard Taft
I look forward to seeing you in Lodge.
Jed Brandow – Master
